Join us for our inaugural IHSA season!
About IHSA
IHSA, founded in 1967, believes that any college rider should be able to afford to show. This innovative organization created a system where each show’s host provides the horses and tack; riders draw their mounts for each class at random and are judged on their equitation on a horse they have never ridden before. Each placing brings a specific amount of points, and if enough points are earned, riders can qualify for Regional, Zone, and National competitions. With eight levels of Hunt Seat competition, there is a place for riders of all experience levels.
IHSA at Chagrin Valley Farms
CVF is currently the home of the Case Western Reserve University IHSA equestrian team, which was originally founded in 2015, revived in 2020, and now revived again in 2023. The current team is a passionate group of equestrians, deriving from many different levels of experience. The team plans to begin participating in IHSA shows in the 2024-2025 season, and is in the process of finalizing details for the upcoming semester.
